They say love is a verb, and that is certainly true for wedding planning. There is a whole lot of doing. So much so that for many couples, the preparation has been known to take away from what ought to be an entirely fun experience. I can testify to it. 

Don’t get me wrong – my husband Harald and I had a delightful wedding – but the process drained us. And we missed out on some crucial things because we just didn’t know what to plan for, until after the fact.

I was an architect back then and, as it turned out, was subconsciously on the lookout for a different path. While I loved the design part of being an architect, I felt constrained by building codes, forms and applications. Getting married had revealed the wedding world to me. The incurable romantic in me fell completely in love with it, and once the dust settled after my own wedding, my gut feeling (and my husband) insisted I had something to contribute.

So, I started out small during evenings and weekends, while I kept my day job as an architect for a few more years. In the summer of 2019, I made the leap and committed fully to what honestly felt like my calling. I love wedding planning with a passion. Nothing feels more like home, professionally, to work with all the things that spark joy in me.

I'm half Brazilian, half English, born and raised in Norway. I am very much a family person, I understand different cultures, speak six languages and have danced professionally.
